Professional and Creative Stylists/Barbers wanted for immediate start in a lively salon in in Stratford, E15.

We are a gentlemen’s salon looking to take the barber shop business to the next level and therefore employ the best of the best!

We offer services for people of all nationalities and to people from all walks of life.

We have a loyal friendly client base and provide a wide range of hair cuts and styles. Our barbers have made on average £600-£1200+ on a weekly basis.

This is a full time self employed position with Excellent earning potential within a warm, friendly and relaxed atmosphere

The salon, the busiest in the area, is situated on a very busy Leytonstone Road, E15, an area with a good mix of Africans, Caribbeans, Asians and Europeans.

Due to a recent surge in workload and customers, we are looking to recruit highly experienced barbers, who are vibrant, sociable and polite. Barbers will be required to understand and meet the client’s needs and make it a priority to offer first class customer service.

The stylist/barber must be competent in giving first-class hair cut to clients with African and Asian hair types. You should also have good knowledge of modern/contemporary styles, scissors cut, cut-throat razor shave, razor hair line shaping, and quick to learn the latest styles as they emerge.

A creative flair in hair design/artwork is a great advantage. Threading and ability to cut women’s hair will also be a big plus.

You must be smart in appearance, able to work well as part of a team, be friendly and demonstrate interpersonal skills towards clients and colleagues.

You will be self-employed and rent a chair on a weekly basis. You may start off on a percentage system basis so as to establish yourself and build your clientele.

We open Monday to Sunday, so you will need to select your suitable permanent hours of work and be expected to work a minimum of five days a week.
